Omg so I just finished watching a series of unfortunate events on Netflix, and at the end, Violet says "Beatrice was our mom's name." I am so confused! I thought Beatrice was Lemony's wife! Like what the heck! And why did the schism happen in the first place! My mind is blowing off right now! If u guys have any answers please reply.

"Keep anyone with whom you can read in scilence"
I think this quote is actually true. This beautiful quote is basically telling you to keep anyone who you can be alone and in scilence with. That is a key part in relationships and I think Mr. Snickett was absolutely right when he wrote this.
(I also just really like that ATWQ quote)
I cant add this fandom on fan central
I'm new here!! My name is Dixie he/she/they pronouns. I love asoue and TMA. I haven't been on this fandom in a while. Anyways. My favorite characters are moxie mallahan and Isadora quagmire. I admire s. Theadora markson.
Bird With A Broken Wing by Owl City is a perfect themesong for Kit Snicket if you think about it.

Hello Snicket Wiki.
Are you celebrating valentine's day with someone?
I was in math class today learning about who the heck knows what, cause I was not paying attention, but that isn’t the point. I just remembered about when I was on the morning announcements in 5th grade. It was Lemony Snicket’s birthday, and so me being the Lemony Snicket nerd I am, I wished him a happy birthday in front of the entire school. Later that day, multiple people came up to me asking if was a member of VFD, and I responded with, “it’s a secret, and if I tell you it will not be a secret anymore…” And then I got yelled at by many teachers cause I was keeping secrets, so then I told everyone I was a part of VFD…
So that’s the stupid things I did in 5th grade.
My answer is "Larry"

I know most of the parents left Stained by the Sea, but why would they leave without their children?
Pip and Squeak- Their father is “sick.” What does sick mean? Did their father leave town, and if so, why does Pip and Squeak lie about it. Or is he really sick?
Ellington- Her father is Hangfire, and she doesn’t talk about her mother. This also brings up the question, what was Hangfires motive for wanting the Bombinating Beast. Ellington says Mr. Feint is a very gentle and kind person, so what happened?
Jake- He lives with his aunt, but why didn’t he go to the city with his parents. Hangfire says, “Your parents, Hix, are too scared to fetch their son.” What happened to them?
Cleo- Her parents left to go to the city, and she wanted to stay to help the town.
Moxie- Her mother left town to go to the city. And in the end it is revealed that her mother essentially abandoned her. Hangfire says, “Your mother, Mallahan, was a journalist searching for the truth, but she didn’t have the courage to face what she found.” I’m really curious about what she could have possibly found.
Ornette- Why doesn’t she live at the Lost Arms with her father? Does she have trauma from the fire and would rather live with her uncles?
And we know about Keller and Stews parents.

Hello, it's Semblance.
I was granted the opportunity to ask Mr. Handler a few questions about his upcoming book—And Then? And Then? What Else?—along with some other upcoming projects. I hope you all enjoy reading this brief interview, and remember that Daniel Handler's latest book releases May 21st, 2024.
Rest Pleasantly.
Semblance: How long has this book been in the works? That meaning when you first got the idea to write it, and the point when you actually sat down and began writing.
Daniel Handler: This book began as an afterword to Aaron Poochigian's translation of The Flowers of Evil. I realized I had more to say about my life in reading, and the publisher generously thought people might be interested in such a thing.
Semblance: If you used the word "bewilderment" to describe Poison for Breakfast, what word would you use to describe And Then? And Then? What Else?
Daniel Handler: Perhaps "perambulation," but I'm more interested in the words other people have for it.
Semblance: Your latest works have taken a much different path than those that have followed, and you seem to be experimenting a lot more with projects. Such as Poison for Breakfast dealing with philosophy, and now this book being a memoir of sorts. What do you think has sparked this change in your style?
Daniel Handler: I hope I am always growing and exploring. I like all different sorts of books so I like to try and write them, too.
Semblance: Did you have any other names for And Then? And Then? What Else? and if so, could you tell us a bit about them?
Daniel Handler: For awhile the book was called Wrong Again which I liked picturing alongside the author's name: Wrong again, Daniel Handler.
Semblance: You've mentioned a few times your writing routine for books, did your newest book follow that same pattern or did you end up using a different method?
Daniel Handler: After many years of rolling my eyes at the notion of writing a book in a cabin in the woods, I made use of a friend's cabin in the woods at the beginning. It was a very fancy cabin, though. But it was very nice to sit in a place, generously loaned out, designed for such a purpose.
Semblance: Besides this book coming out soon, there is also the 25th anniversary editions for A Series of Unfortunate Events. Could you share anything about them? Did you have any involvement with their creation?
Daniel Handler: I was very excited that Emily Gravett agreed to make some new covers. I have admired her for a long time.
Semblance: And Then? And Then? What Else? A phrase which here means, is there any new information you can tell us of what you have planned for the future?
Daniel Handler: I am at work on a large, bonkers book project and a theater piece about which I am very excited.
