The Reptitle Room: Part Two was the fourth episode of Netflix's A Series of Unfortunate Events. It covered the second half of The Reptile Room.
Official synopsis
Klaus and Violet suspect Count Olaf and his evil cohorts when a lifeless body turns up in the reptile room. Sunny sees the inside of a suitcase.
Plot
The Baudelaires’ wake up the next morning only to find that Monty has been killed and left in The Reptile Room for them to find. They immediately suspect Stephano. Before they can do anything about it, Stephano kidnaps Sunny and promises to hurt her if Violet and Klaus don't go with him to Peru.
Unexpectedly, Mr. Poe appears but doesn't seem to recognize Stephano for who he really is. Stephano explains that Monty was killed the the Incredibly Deadly Viper and that he must become their new guardian. Mr. Poe refuses to listen to Klaus when he says that Stephano is lying so the Baudelaires take matters into their own hands.
Klaus sneaks into the Reptile Room in search of one of Monty's journal, convinced that there must be notes about the viper in it. Meanwhile, Violet and Sunny go to Monty's care and break into Stephano's suitcase. There they find a bunch of parts that, when assembled, become the murder weapon. While Violet is distracted, Sunny manages to wander off and heads back to the house with the Incredibly Deadly Viper.
The two give Mr. Poe a scare but, when he realizes that they are just playing, he comes to the conclusion that the viper couldn't have killed Monty. This is further cemented when Klaus reads Monty's notes clearly stating that the viper isn't an aggressive reptile and when Violet puts the murder weapon back together. Stephano is revealed to be Olaf (gasp!) but, just when Poe was about to arrest him, the Count manages to get away. Again.
The Baudelaires’ follow Olaf into the garden maze, but run into Jacqueline instead. Disguised as a statue, she reveals that she was a friend of their parents and promises to do everything she can to find Count Olaf. The children are taken away by Mr. Poe yet again and are shipped off to their Aunt Josephine's, who Jacqueline said was a "fierce and formidable woman."
